Dr. Mohamed Morsy was born in Egypt, in 1983. He was graduated from Al-Azhar University in 2005, He received his Ph.D. degree in Experimental solid-state physics from Helwan University in 20??. He has joined the National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt as a researcher assistant for three years. In 2009, he joined the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), Egypt. Since then he is working in the preparation of nanomaterials for different applications mainly for sensors and construction. He has acquired three internships in the National Research Council, Rome, Italy, and the Indian Institute of Science, India. He was granted two Egyptian patents in the development of chemical vapor deposition and gas sensor evaluation systems. Furthermore, he is an active partner in alternative projects funded by Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF) as well as frequent conferences. Currently, he is the PI of the STDF project focused on gas sensors using carbon nanomaterials. Science Sep. 2021 he was enrolled in the Nanotechnology Research Center (NTRC), British university, Egypt (BUE), As an associate Professor. Dr, Morsy's work was published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as Sensors and Actuators B, IEEE sensors, Journal of Alloys and compounds, and Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics. He is also a reviewer in multiple journals, He serves as an associate editor for the HBRC journal.
