One day Seminars..

We are delighted to announce that the Nanotechnology Research Centre (NTRC) at the British University in Egypt (BUE), in collaboration with the National Committee of Physics, was pleased to launch the one-day seminars on "New Trends in Physics and Nanotechnology with Related Applications" that was held on the 9th of May 2023 at NTRC.

The seminar featured lectures from renowned professors and researchers from Zewail City, National Research Center (NRC), Helwan University, Central Metallurgical R&D Institute (CMRDI), and the British University in Egypt. The experts delved into various topics, including "New Trends and Applications of Oxide Glasses - Prof. Amr Mohamed Abdelghany, NRC ", "Selective Materials for Effective Radiation Protection - Prof. Elsayed Salama Ahmed, BUE”, “Gaseous Detectors for the CMS Experiment at LHC - Assoc. Prof. Yasser Assran, BUE & Suez University”, "Computational Photonics for Biomedical Applications - Prof. Mohamed Farhat, Zewail City", "Spintronics: Introduction, Materials, and Applications - Assist. Prof. Mahmoud Rasly, CMRDI”, “Search for New Physics in the Future Circular and Linear Colliders - Prof. Sherif Elgammal, BUE" and "Effect of Nanoparticles on the Physical Properties of Composites for Different Industrial Applications - Prof. Ahmed Ali, Helwan University & BUE."

The seminar started with a short movie showcasing NTRC facilities, followed by an opening ceremony and a welcoming speech to set the stage for the day's proceedings. The seminar then proceeded with the lectures, which were interspersed with Q&A sessions to allow attendees and researchers to engage with the speakers.

The seminar was a thought-provoking and informative experience for attendees interested in physics, nanotechnology, and related applications. We express our gratitude to the professors and researchers who presented at the seminar and to all attendees who had a valuable learning experience and made the event a success.
