Prof.Mona Gamal Arafa , Associate Professor of pharmaceutics and Nanotechnology , Faculty of Pharmacy- The British University in Egypt, Associate Consultant at Mansoura University Hospitals. Associate Editor at cancer nanotechnology -Springer Nature, Guest Editor of Pharmaceutics-MDPI. 

Prof. Mona Arafa work`s lies at the interface of pharmaceutics and nanotechnology. Prof. Arafa has a special focus on the role of nanocarriers targeted drug delivery systems, and she has been engaged in cutting-edge nanotechnology research for many years since 2007 and has several inventions with seminal contributions in the field of cancer, epilepsy, skin disorders, ophthalmic, pulmonary, rectal and ulcer nano-targeted diagnosis and therapy, in addition to scaling up all related formulae as innovative prototypes. Prof. Arafa has a wide expertise in preparation, evaluation and applications of variable pharmaceutical dosage forms, with a special focus on the role of nanocarriers as advanced targeted drug delivery systems. Prof. Arafa Research and publications in drug delivery, international journal of nanomedicine, international journal of Pharmaceutics, carbohydrate polymers, polymers, scientific reports, drug delivery science and technology bring new benefits and challenges to both society and economy.
