We were honored to host a high-level scientific visit by Professor Demitrios Lamporu Queen`s university , Belfast, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing strategy for global academic collaboration.
The visit kicked off with a comprehensive tour of our world-class facilities. Professor Demitrios expressed immense fascination with our state-of-the-art laboratories, advanced instrumentation, and rigorous operational standards. More importantly, he commended the exceptional caliber of our researchers, and research assistants, whose dedication drives our high-impact output.

A major highlight of the day was an insightful lecture delivered by Professor Demitrios. The hybrid session brought together an exceptional audience, attended in person by our dedicated Faculty of Pharmacy and NTRC staff, alongside international guests joining us online from the University of Nottingham.
Following the lecture and facility briefing, a highly productive meeting was held with the Vice President for Research and Enterprise. The discussion centered on strategic cross-border collaborations, joint research initiatives, and capitalizing on international funding opportunities to solve global-scale challenges.
The memorable visit concluded on a high note with a warm exchange of institutional gifts and commemorative photographs, symbolizing a shared vision for the future of scientific enterprise.
