At the Nanotechnology Research Centre (NTRC), fostering early interest in advanced materials and pharmaceutical technologies is a core part of our mission. We recently had the pleasure of hosting an exceptional group of young students from Carlton College School for a high-impact, one-day immersive workshop. 🔬🚀
The day was designed to bridge foundational concepts with real-world, scalable pharmaceutical applications :
🌱 Nature Meets Nanoscience: The students kicked off the day fascinated by the world of naturally occurring nano-objects, exploring how nature builds at the nanoscale.
🧪 From Theory to Formulation: They didn't just watch—they stepped into the Process Lab to learn how we engineer nanoparticles and integrate them into advanced pharmaceutical dosage forms.
🧴 Future Formulators: By the end of the workshop, our young guests left the center proudly carrying their very own advanced preparations, including  nanosuspensions, custom sunscreen creams powered by a secret nano-API and microcapsules!
Seeing their curiosity ignite in our labs reinforces the importance of academic outreach and science diplomacy. By opening our doors to the scientists of tomorrow, we hope to build the multidisciplinary talent pipeline needed to solve future global challenges.
A sincere thank you to our dedicated research team who facilitated this successful day, and to the brilliant students for their incredible drive and enthusiasm!
